    Danger Averted As Lagos Fire Service Puts Off Tanker Inferno

    ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- The Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service has attended to a Fire incident caused by a fallen tanker.

    The incident occurred at T-junction, Oko Osho, Epe, Lagos State.

    This was disclosed by Adeseye Margaret, the Director Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, in a statement on Monday.

    The incident also saw Epe Fire Stations l and ll of the Agency mitigating the resultant Fire accident.

    It was gathered that the accident involved a tanker fully laden with 33,000 litres Petroleum while spilling its content on it way from Lagos towards Itokin Road.

    Also, the ensuing fire affected stationed Police Armoured Tank used for security patrol of the environment and nearby bush due to volatility spread of the products.

    The accident, however, did not record any casualty as the driver and assistant(s) were not in sight and apparently had escaped unhurt as well as the Policemen.
