Moroccan International Achraf Hakimi has been trending on various social media platforms on Friday, after reports emerged that his wife, Hiba Abouk, discovered he owns nothing despite earning millions of Euros with Paris Saint Germain and the Moroccan national football team.
Hakimi’s wife in December 2022, broke her silence to confirm she has separated from the Paris St-German player in an update after he was charged with rape.
The Spanish-Tunisian took to her Instagram page to update her 1.7million followers telling them that she and her husband were no longer together.
She wrote: “The reality is that a while ago, after a lot of reflection, the father of my children and I made the decision to end our relationship, long before the recent media events that have involved me, which are totally external.”
Abouk also referenced the “pain” and “grief” she experienced due to the separation and the “failure of a family project to which [she] had given [her] body and soul.”
She added she did not imagine in addition to facing the “usual pain that comes with a separation,” she would also have to confront “this shame” as well.
Abouk said: “I needed time to digest this shock.”
French prosecutors confirmed the World Cup ace, 24, has been placed under judicial supervision on preliminary charges of rape.
Recounting the alleged rape, the 24-year-old lady in Paris said: “He kissed my mouth, lifted my shirt and kissed my breasts even though I told him not to. I took a VTC that he asked me to take and once at his house things started to get out of control. Even though I told him no over and over again, he carried out the rape.”
The contact between the soccer player and the alleged victim was initiated through social media on 16 January.
The alleged rape took place on 25 February 25 at the player’s home. At the time of the alleged incident, Hakimi’s wife and two children were traveling.
The Moroccan player’s lawyer, Fanny Colin, has denied the version of the alleged victim.
“The accusations are false and the footballer is calm and at the disposal of justice,” commented the lawyer.
However, in a latest development, the footballer’s wife discovered that the 24-year-old had registered all his properties and money in his mother’s name.
Whenever he needed anything, he would ask his mother to buy it for him according to unconfirmed reports.
All his houses, cars, clothes, and jewelry were found to be in his mother’s name, and millions in salary were deposited in accounts bearing his mother’s name.
It was reported that 80 percent of all that he owns is registered in his mother’s name.
The couple began dating in 2018, married in 2020 and have two sons.
The recent report have caused an uproar on social media with many netizens hailing the footballer for the act while others criticized him for not trusting his wife.
