LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- Economic Financial Crime Commission says it has arrested 23 suspected internet fraudsters in Enugu State.
News Agency Of Nigeria reports that the EFCC spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren, made the disclosure in Abuja on 29 March stating that the suspects were arrested around Monark, Emene and Golf Course axis of Enugu.
“The suspects are Ugwuanyi Kasiemobi, Emmanuel Agwu, Onyeama Arinze, Hycienth Emmanuel, Chibueze Oluebube, Ogaraku Obinna, Chibueze Onyedikachi, Austus Chiemerem, Ikechi Faithful and Okafor Chika,” stated the EFCC spokesman. “Others are Chimaobi Joshua, Onuoha Oluebubu, Udo Stanley, Igbo Ikenna, Nweke David, Obinna Obumneme, Okocha Ewah, Nweke Chidera, Justice Mba, David Nweke, Eze Chiwetalu, Nweke Chidubem and Ikechi David.”
He disclosed that items seized from them included one Mercedes Benz E350, one Lexus ES350, one Mercedes Benz CLE, one Toyota Camry, a Toyota Avalon and a black Mercedes Benz.
According to Uwujaren, the other items seized from the suspects, who have made useful statements to the EFCC, are 43 mobile phones, 11 laptops, and charms.
