LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – A fire outbreak has reportedly occurred in the early hours of today at the Olowu spare parts market in Lagos State.
This fire incident occurred barely 24hours after the early morning inferno at the popular Balogun market, Lagos, island.
Some shops engulfed by the inferno contained air-conditioners for sale, parts of vehicles, and motorcycles, among others.
The traders are left to count their losses as the goods lost to the fire are worth millions of naira.
Operatives of the Lagos State Fire Service and security were reportedly at the scene to put the situation in control.
Recall that a similar incident occurred three weeks ago at Akere Spare Parts Market on Kirikiri Road, Olodi-Apapa in Ajegunle, as shops and goods went up in flames.
