Nigerian singer and songwriter Habeeb Okikiola, aka Portable, has squared off against Nigerian police officers after they invaded his bar.
A video of the mild drama was posted online few hours ago.
The “Zazoo Zeh Crooner” was not pleased when men from the police raided his Odogwu Bar in Lagos State.
Portable could be heard telling the policemen in the viral video on Tuesday, 28 March, 2023, that he can’t be frightened since he is a superstar.
In more videos, Portable continued to stand his ground as he showed the bus the policemen brought to take him away.
He made sure to ask the policemen about his offence and even demanded to see their ID cards.
The musician also rebuffed the efforts of the officers to shut him down and told them that he was a superstar and a celebrity.
He emphasized further that he works for the All Progressive Congress (APC) and is a liability to the federal administration.
According to Portable, he makes his money through legit means, and the person behind the arrest was someone he had helped and even advised to go into music instead of internet fraud.
Netizens have reacted to the video, with some hailing him for not being intimidated and standing for his right.
