ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, says dancing was his hobby and didn’t stop him from his role as a Governor.
He stated also that he was supposed to be into entertainment business, but his parent forced him to attend school because he believes that he can be a lawyer or a doctor.
Adeleke disclosed this while speaking on News Central TV in an interview on Tuesday.
He admitted that music is very important to him and it makes him to feel good.
“I love music. I love to dance. I was supposed to be into entertainment business. During that time, when we were growing up, our father believed that you have to be a doctor, you have to be a lawyer, you have to go to school. They forced me to go to school.
“I went to the US in 1980 when Michael Jackson was booming. I used to go out there and do a dancing competition, and I was winning dollars. So it’s just part of me, I still have that in me.
“So I am not surprised by my nephew and my kids, who have already picked that up. So I still have it in me.
“So, I don’t believe that because I’m a Governor or when I was a Senator, sometimes when we are having a get together, everybody will be struck up. So, I’m not going to let anybody control my life. There is time for everything. When it is time for me to dance, I will dance.”
