Some Nigerians have called on international government and organizations to investigate the drug trafficking allegations leveled against Tinubu while others have boasted that the APC chieftain can never be Nigeria’s President.

A tweep, @Sport_Doctor2 shared screenshots of interviews Tinubu’s allies who were once his strong adversary granted different media outlets years ago.

Investigative journalist David Hundeyin reacted to comments made by one of Tinubu’s spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, where he indirectly confirmed that the president-elect was into drug trafficking.

“Bola Tinubu’s official spokesperson agrees that his boss is a drug dealer, and his defense is “it happened over 10 years ago.”

“Now watch Nigerian media pretend not to see this.”

Meanwhile, Arabirin Aderonke, a self-made second daughter of Tinubu, came to his defence.

She called the former Governor of Lagos State, “a decent man who earned his wealth legitimately”.

“President-elect and Incoming President, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu IS NOT a drug baron. He is not a drug dealer. He is a decent man who earned his wealth legitimately. He is a successful accountant, entrepreneur, politician, and humanitarian. A father and husband.”
