ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – The Peoples Democratic Party has won 28 of the 32 seats in the Oyo State State House of Assembly.
Reports gathered by voiceofnaija.ng have it that the main opposition, the All Progressives Congress (APC), secured four seats.
According to Daily Trust reports, the incoming Oyo Assembly will be made up of 30 males and two females.
Fifteen lawmakers were re-elected while 13 are first timers in the Assembly, and they will all work with the re-elected Seyi Makinde, who won the governorship election.
With the ruling PDP dominating the Assembly, it looks like exciting times are here for the people of Oyo State.
