LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Nigeria’s President-elect at the recent presidential election, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has cast his vote in Lagos.
The former Lagos State Governor shared images from the process via his social media handle, where he also enjoined Nigerians to go all out and vote peacefully.

Tinubu was accompanied by his wife, Senator Remi Tinubu, to the polling unit and was seen responding to cheers by supporters who stormed the polling unit in their number.
He wrote: “I just joined other Nigerians in exercising my civic duty in the ongoing governorship and state assembly elections. I encourage you all to go out and vote peacefully.”

Meanwhile, reports from several parts of the country indicate that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) arrived at their polling units early enough.
This, observers have confirmed, is an improvement from what was experienced during the presidential and national assembly elections.
