LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Some journalists deployed to cover the polling unit of the Lagos State Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate, Abdul-Azeez Adediran, were stranded as the boat meant to convey them to the location developed a fault shortly after it took off.
According to The Punch, they had to disembark from the boat while they waited for another one as of 9:45am.
Adediran’s polling unit is at Osolu Junior High School, Unit 001, ward G in Irewe community.
Irewe is a town in the Ojo Local Government Area of the State and situated on the Island of one of the creeks in Badagry.
As at the time of filing this report, our correspondent could not ascertain if the had moved from the jetty to the polling unit.
