LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – An official of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Ilasamaja area of Lagos has caused a stir on the social media.

The INEC official, voiceofnaija.ng gathered, reportedly stated that only 14 of the about 1000 registered voters would be allowed to vote, stating that she was working on instructions.

The Nigerian man who raised the alarm via a video he shared online, said: “I’m calling Nigeria INEC, I’m calling Labour Party and everyone involved to come and see what is happening at Ijaiye, no.9 polling unit, Ilasamaja ward F2 Where we have more than one thousand registered voters .

“They said it is only 14 people that can be allowed to vote that it’s what they were instructed. We are telling the whole world and Nigerians to see what is happening in Lagos.

“Everybody has his voters card here but we are being denied.”

Voters are seen reaching out to the INEC representatives in an attempt to be helped, but to no effect.
