Megan Fox claims no third parties were involved in her and Machine Gun Kelly’s alleged split.
The actress returned to Instagram on Sunday to set the record straight amid various reports that her fiancé was unfaithful.
“There has been no third party interference in this relationship of any kind. That includes, but is not limited to…actual humans, DMs, AI bots or succubus demons,” the “Jennifer’s Body” star wrote in a statement via her Notes app.
“While I do hate to rob you of running random baseless news stories that would have been much more accurately written by ChatGPT, you need to let this story die and leave all these innocent people alone now 🙏💜 .”
All other posts from Fox’s feed have been archived after she temporarily deactivated her account last weekend.
She is also currently following zero people after previously hitting the “follow” button on Harry Styles, Timothée Chalamet and Eminem, the latter of whom MGK notoriously feuded with over the years.
On 12 February, the Jennifer’s Body actress raised eyebrows by deleting her Instagram posts that contained pics of MGK, sharing a cryptic lyric about “dishonesty” from Beyoncé’s 2016 song “Pray You Catch Me”—from the pop star’s album Lemonade, and following just three users—Eminem, Harry Styles and Timothée Chalamet.
Megan later deleted her Instagram account entirely soon after fans began to leave comments speculating that she and MGK had broken up, with one theorizing the rocker “probably got with Sophie,” seemingly in reference to the rocker’s touring guitarist Sophie Lloyd.
Megan replied to the poster, writing, “Maybe I got with Sophie,” while the musician’s management team issued a separate response to the cheating rumors.
“Sophie Lloyd is a professional, accomplished musician who has been needlessly dragged into the media based off of meritless accusations made by social media,” they told Page Six on 15 February.
“Any suggestion that she has ever acted in an unprofessional manner or stepped out of her relationship are untrue.”
Her team added: “It’s disrespectful to her as a female artist and poor journalism and social commentary to be reporting anything else.”
Meanwhile, Megan and MGK have been spotted out together twice since she deleted her Instagram. They were photographed leaving an office building in the Los Angeles area one day later, on 13 February, and then again on Valentine’s Day, when they were seen driving together with the rocker behind the wheel.
MGK, who got engaged to Megan in January 2022, has not commented on the pair’s current relationship status or the rumors.
On Monday, a source told PEOPLE that Fox was “very upset” with MGK after a fight over Super Bowl weekend. The source said the actress was not on speaking terms with her musician fiancé, following the dispute.
“Megan is very upset. They had a fight over the weekend and Megan won’t speak to him,” the source said.
“They haven’t officially called off the engagement, but Megan took her ring off,” the source added, noting that while the couple “have had issues in the past, things seem pretty serious this time.”
