LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- In anticipation of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential rally scheduled to take place at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere on Tuesday, the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has issued a travel advisory.
The advisory aims to maintain continuous and hassle-free vehicular circulation throughout the event.
The last campaign event before the impending presidential election on Saturday is expected to host Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC’s presidential candidate, as well as other party leaders and supporters in the location. President Muhammadu Buhari will also be present.
The APC leaders would take the Mobolaji Bank Anthony, Maryland, and Ikorodu Route from the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Ikeja to the Stadium, according to Bolaji Oreagba, General Manager of LASTMA.
Mr. Oreagba further urged drivers and commuters to take alternate routes in order to prevent any delay or inconveniences in light of this.
Officials from LASTMA will be present to control traffic and make sure that the march does not significantly affect the city’s regular operations.
