Delta: Another Okowa Aide Resigns, Joins APC

ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- Mr. Bullet Otuaro, a Special Assistant to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Security, has resigned his appointment and dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), for the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Otuaro is a younger brother to Deputy Governor Deacon Kingsley Otuaro.

Hi resignation was contained in a letter dated 17 January, 2023 to Governor Okowa, through the Burutu Ward 10 chairman of the PDP.

The deputy governorship candidate of the APC Friday Osanebi welcomed the defectors into the APC fold.

An elated Otuaro, while being welcomed into the APC, said: “Now is the time for Delta youths to come together and deliver one of own as Delta’s next Deputy Governor”.

In his letter of resignation, the former security aide wrote: “My resignation is occasioned by personal reasons. I humbly wish to chart a new course, in search for a better and more formidable political party, where I will be more appreciated “.
