IBADAN, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – A trending gist involving Dino Melaye, a former Kogi State senator and two female influencers, Ashmusy and Ada Jesus, is causing uproar on social media following a post by a controversial blogger.
The drama began on Monday, after a well-known Nigerian on-air personality (OAP), Nedu Wazobia, disclosed on a podcast, how he caught two influencers and celebrities having a night of passion with his wealthy pal at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja.
On 15 January, 2023, a highly divisive and notorious rumour monger on Instagram, Gistlover, caused a stir on social media by publicly revealing the identities of the influencers that Nedu mentioned in his statement on the podcast.
The revelation sparked intense discussion and debate among social media users.
Reacting to Nedu’s revelation on #thehonestbunchpodcast, Gistlover claimed the two influencers are Ashmusy and Mins Miraj aka ‘Ada Jesus’, because they are both highly recognized for having expensive hairstyles and using surgical procedures to enhance their posteriors.
A short while after the report appeared on her Instagram page, Ashmusy accused Gistlover of disseminating false information; she, however, insisted that she didn’t know Dino Melaye.
Taking to her Instagram page on Tuesday, the comedian quickly debunked the claims or any suggestions of having a relationship with the politician.
According to Ashmusy, the rumours are lies. Not stopping there, she added that she has never met the politician before in her life. The actress explained that she will not ignore the claims because they are totally false and complete rubbish.
She said: “I don’t care this time around, I am not doing any celebrity thick skin. This is rubbish, this is complete nonsense. Just attach my picture to person wey I never see for my life before. I don’t even know him, I’ve never met him in my life before. ‘Hardwork under Dino?’ Wetin you dey talk?”
Not stopping there, Ashmusy also shared posts on her Instagram story where she insisted that the claims from Gist Lover are lies upon lies.
She went on to share screenshots of her chats with the blogger.

Ashmusy also contacted her friend, Ada Jesus, via phone call to inform her about the latest happening.
Ashmusy who shared the phone convo she recently had with Ada Jesus on her IG page wrote: “I had to call @nons_miraj immediately!! Because why do we find joy in tarnishing people’s image and hardwork anyhow just to get engagement ?????? Whyyyyyy ?????

The accusation has garnered reactions from social media users with some tagging the skit maker a liar.

Hours after the controversy began, the top politician, Dino Melaye, has now reacted to claims of being involved with comedians, Ashmusy and Nons Miraj.
Dino took to his official Instagram page in the early hours of Wednesday, to blow hot as he addressed the claims.
The politician threatened that he was going to sue Gist Lover. Not stopping there, he added that he does not know any of the two ladies in the photo collage.
Dino also called the blog an agent of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and vowed that they will not get away with their false story this time around. The politician demanded an apology within 24 hours or they would face the consequences.
He wrote: “I will sue you this time. Will locate you. I don’t know any of these ladies. Agent of APC. You will not get away with your lies and unfounded story this time. You just dialed the wrong number. Apologize within 24 hours or face the consequences.”
Commenting on Melaye’s post, Gist Lover asked if he did twosome or not.
“Dey play sogbo just dey play 🚶🏽🚶🏽🚶🏽🚶🏽🚶🏽🚶🏽🚶🏽”
The blogger continued: “You do twosome abi you no do twosome? Soro soke werey, no be only APC 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 You no like PDAPC, DINO OLOKO GIVEAWAY, PIN KARILE CHINCHIN.”
According to reports, this is not the first time that the former member of the 8th Nigerian National Assembly representing Kogi West Senatorial District, is being accused of engaging in illicit affair.
A similar incident occurred in 2017, when a photo of him in a hotel room in London was posted online, leading to several accusations.
