IBADAN, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Nigerian singer and songwriter, Oluwajuwonlo Iledare aka ‘Jaywon’, has been robbed of his luggage and other items at his hotel in the United States of America.
In a video he shared via his Instagram account on Sunday, the singer said that he came back to his hotel room after a studio session to find his valuables missing.
He wrote: “Left my hotel today #hiltonbaltimore to the studio only to come back and I couldn’t find my luggage, my carry on bag with my laptop. My gold chain, clothes, shoes, slides are gone. Someone emptied my suite #hiltonbaltimoreinnerharbor this wasn’t the Christmas.”
With this incident, Jaywon has now joined the list of Nigerian celebrities robbed during a vacation abroad.
In July, 2022, Nollywood actress Lilian Afegbai came out to narrate how she was robbed in Paris while on vacation.
Taking to social media the reality TV star stated that while she was on vacation, she went into a boutique in Paris to shop for a few things but when it was time to pay she realized that her card and her purse were missing.
Lilian Afegbai further narrated that she was in shock because she didn’t know when or where the card and purse was taken. The sultry actress went on to point out that she had to use a GPS and trek back to her hotel room.
Upon arriving at her hotel room she had to cut short her trip and come back to Nigeria.
Following this, she stated that nowhere is safe. She made all this revelation in a video which she posted on Instagram.
