Nollywood actress, and movie producer, Toyin Abraham-Ajeyemi had the premiere for her highly-anticipated movie, ‘Ijakumo: The Born Again Stripper’, at the Film House Cinema in Lekki, Lagos State.
Her colleagues in the entertainment industry as well as the cast and crew of the movie showed up to support on Sunday, 18 December.
The theme of the event was ‘Sunday Best’, and guests showed up in stylish ensembles that could have been otherwise worn to a church service.
The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu was present at the event with some of his aides alongside actors such as Iyabo Ojo, Mercy Aigbe, Toke Makinwa, Lilian Afegbai, Bimbo Akintola, amongst others.
‘Ijakumo’ is a suspense thriller following a disgraced woman who is on a revenge mission to destroy the life of her former lover.
Ashabi, the daughter of a powerful spiritualist, is hell-bent on destroying the life of her former Jide, a renowned pastor of a mega church, who jilted and left her to die.
With the help of Sharon, a stripper and choir leader who Jide lusts after, Ashabi figures a way to hatch her revenge plan.
Abraham is joined by an impressive cast including Lolade Okusanya, Kunle Remi, Lilian Afegbai, Olumide Oworu, Eso Dike, and so on.
It will be released to cinemas across Nigeria on 23 December, 2022.

The young actress in the viral clip was heard thanking Toyin Abraham for giving her an opportunity of a lifetime by starring in a lead role in her movie.
The up-and-coming actress known as Pearl Crownfits, within the skit makers world, said that as much as she’s trying to be a celebrity, she can’t help but let out her emotions and express them to her senior colleague.
Popular fashion designer, Toyin Lawani was also at the scene of the incident as she tried to calm Lolade’s emotions.
