The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar on Thursday, met the Governor of Anambra state, Charles Soludo in the state capital.
He led a delegation of the party as they paid a visit to the Soludo at the government house in Awka.
Abubakar, including members of the PDP national working committee (NWC) and national executive committee (NEC), are in the state for a presidential campaign rally.
In a video, the former vice-president could be seen exchanging warm pleasantries with Soludo who appeared excited to receive the PDP flagbearer.
In a series of tweets, Abubakar said he received a warm reception from the governor.
“I paid a courtesy call at the Anambra Government House, and I am most delighted for the warm and brotherly reception accorded my team and I by Governor Charles Soludo.
“I admire his passion for developmental politics. It’s gladdening to note that we share a similar commitment to the promotion of good governance to better the lots of the common people. -AA”
