ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- The Vice Chancellor of the Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, Prof. Muhammed Mustapha-Akanbi, is reportedly dead.
It was gathered that the scholar and administrator died on Sunday, 20 November, 2022 after a protracted illness.
Mrs. Kikelomo Salle, the school’s Registrar, confirmed the incident via a statement on Sunday, 20 November.
“We urge everyone to remember his immediate and extended family, and the University in prayers in this very trying time.
“Burial arrangements will be announced soon,” she wrote in a statement.
The late Professor is the first son of Justice Mustapha Akanbi, the late pioneer chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practice and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).
