The 2022 Wearable Art Gala which paid tribute to 1920s-1950s glamour, was held at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California over the weekend.

In 2016, Beyonce’s mother, Tina Knowles and her husband Richard Lawson joined forces to create the Wearable Art Gala in association with non- profit the LA theatre, Where Art Can Occur (WACO) to provide access for those in the community to an institution that is largely exclusionary.
