IBADAN, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – The presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, Omoyele Sowore, comedian Debo Adebayo, a k.a Mr Macaroni; and musician Folarin Falana, a k.a Falz were some of the leaders of the procession to commemorate the second-year anniversary of the #EndSARS protest that rocked Lagos and parts of Nigeria in October 2020.
Others personalities present to mark the memorial of the Lekki shooting include Feyikemi Abudu and other youths.
Youths in their numbers on Thursday morning showed up with dummy coffins and bloodstained Nigerian flags at Lekki toll gate in Lagos State to commemorate the second-year memorial of the EndSARS protest shooting.
The procession passed through the Lekki Tollgate, the scene of the killings that took place on Tuesday, 20 October, 2020.
Some Nigerians were also seen waving Nigerian flags from inside their vehicles and honking their horns while singing solidarity songs.
Mr Macaroni, who was present at the procession, had on Wednesday, announced the “peaceful walk” in honour of victims of police brutality and extrajudicial killings.
