IBADAN, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- Netizens are dragging Nollywood actress, Uche Ogbodo and calling her “two-faced” and a “chameleon” for supporting Yul-Edochie’s wives, May Yul-Edochie and Judy Austin Muoghalu.
May Yul-Edochie had been married to actor Yul Edochie for 16 years before he announced earlier this year that he has married his colleague Judy Austin with whom he welcomed a son.
Loyalties are divided after the news surfaced online as some people are on Judy’s side while others are standing with May, who shares 4 kids with Yul.
Since the marriage announcement was made, Uche Ogbodo has been showing her support to May and Judy.
Most of Judy’s posts get liked by Uche and she is also a regular commenter on May’s page.
May took to Instagram to insist that polygamy is not for her and that she will not be numbered as a wife.
In her own words, “Beyond all unnecessary facades, Polygamy is a life choice and no one should be compelled to accept it. It is something I think all parties involved should embrace willingly, and it’s okay for anyone for anyone who chooses it. Some regions/traditions allow polygamy and I have nothing against it. However, I am ABSOLUTELY against it. However, I am absolutely certain that I will not be NUMBERED as a wife or be cajoled to accept a practice that does not align with my faith and family values.”
This reiterates her stand since her husband announced he has taken a new wife.
May Edochie received lots of support from actresses and her fans as they hailed her for being strong-willed.

May’s followers then took it upon themselves to respond to Uche.
They slammed her for not picking a side.

She added that she is not a chameleon and the real chameleons are those in Nollywood who knew that “this relationship has been ongoing for the past 6 years but never mentioned it to May till it was too late.”
