IBADAN, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- Nigerian celebrities gathered for the premiere of Jade Osiberu’s new movie, ‘Brotherhood’ held in Lagos on Friday, 16 September, 2022.
Osiberu likewise produced films like Sugar Rush and Ayinka. She directed Gidi Up, Isoken, Everything Scatter, among others. Osiberu co-wrote Brotherhood’s screenplay with Abdul Tijani-Ahmed.
The trailer for the highly anticipated Nollywood film ‘Brotherhood’ was released last month.
According to the movie producer, Jade Osiberu, the Greoh studios production will debut simultaneously on 23 September, 2022 across African countries including Cameroon, Nigeria, Benin Republic, Burkina Faso, Togo, Niger Republic, Senegal, Madagascar and more.
The thriller is directed by Ugandan filmmaker Loukman Ali and features a star-studded cast list including Zubby Michael, Basketmouth, Toni Tones, OC Ukeje, Falz, Tobi Bakre and more.
The film, follows twin brothers “Akin (Falz) and Wale (Tobi Bakre)”, who are “bound by blood, yet separated by their choices”.
After years of hustling on the streets of Lagos, the brothers fall on opposite sides of the law: Akin joins the police and Wale joins a gang of robbers.
Their brotherly bond is tested when Akin becomes a part of the task force hunting Wale and his gang.
At the movie premiere tonight, reality TV star and influencer, Ifuenanda stole the limelight with her daring look to the ‘Ojuju Ball’ themed event.
The Big Brother Naija ex-housemate, known for going all out in terms of fashion, stole the show on the red carpet in a daring costume designed by prominent fashion designer Toyin Lawani.
She wasn’t the only one who turned heads at the movie premiere with her bold look. Several celebrities including Mercy Aigbe, Boma Akpore, Basketmouth, Tobi Bakre, came out to slay, and slay they did!
