ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- Mr. Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) has expressed optimism that the 2023 general election would neither be about tribe nor connection but on the capacity of candidates
Obi stated this on Monday at the 2022 Annual General Meeting of the Nigerian Bar Association currently holding at the Eko Hotels, Lagos.
The former Anambra State Governor said, “Remember, the election we are going to have next year will not be about tribe, not religion, not connection, not entitlements but about character, competence, capacity, and commitment to deliver.”
The event had the presence of several dignitaries including the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP 2023 presidential flag bearer, Atiku Abubakar and the All Progressives Congress, APC vice presidential candidate, Kashim Shettima.
