ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- The Leader of All Christian Practical Praying Band, Anambra State, Elder Dan Nwokolo, has been reportedly kidnapped by unidentified gunmen.
It was gathered that the hoodlums invaded the residence of the cleric in Ufuma, Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra State and kidnapped him after a midnight prayer session on Thursday.
According to a source in the community, the suspected kidnappers took the cleric to an unknown destination.
The source stated also that no contact has been established with the man.
The state police spokesman, Tochukwu Ikenga, did not confirm the incident as calls and text messages to his phone line remained unanswered as at the time of filing this report.
