Four people have died during a shootout in a bar in Pietermaritzburg, eastern South Africa, Police said on Sunday.
The shooting took place towards 08:30 pm (1830 GMT) and left eight others injured, local police spokesman Nqobile Gwala said.
Earlier on Sunday, police said 14 people died in a shootout overnight in Soweto, close to Johannesburg.
